Many overzealous marketers display trading results that are from "hypothetical or simulated trading." What this means, is that someone went back and applied the trading concept to historical figures to find out "what would have happened" had the actual trades been made.

Beware, this marketing and advertising practice is deceptive! If you see a notice that has reference to "simulated trading" in a salesletter or brochure, don't walk away...run from the product.

3. Stay away from training packages that make obvious false claims.

The trading industry is notorious for making false claims. Even though the CFTC has stepped in and tried to "clean up" the obvious liars who make outlandish claims, they still seem to make their way into unsuspecting victim's mailboxes.

Here is the headline from a letter we just received the other day.

Listen, if someone could win 101 times for every loss in the market, don't you think every investor and trader in America would be flocking to it!

Most traders that have been around for even a short time look at this over-hyped stuff and shake their head with disgust. Don't get suckered into buying a course that makes ridiculous claims.

4. Do NOT buy any training package that promises or implies that they'll make you rich overnight or that guarantees an X return in Y amount of time.

For example, don't buy packages that say they'll make you $6,000 a week or $250,000 a year. Those claims are ridiculous. The person making those claims doesn't know you. For all they know, you could be a homeless person living under a bridge. They can't make any promises.

In fact, we don't claim you'll ever make a dime as a result of our workshop video. What we do claim is that if you're not completely happy with the toolkit, send it back and we'll give you back your money. It's that simple.
